Technical Rescue Training at TrainingTECH
WELCOME TO TRAINING TECH
Student involvement is our number 1 priority. One of the primary problems in technical rescue training is the lack of ingenuity and variation in practical skill delivery. Essentially, students were good at performing skills in a sterile training environment (aka Drill Tower). However, when tasked with performing skills outside of the sterile training environment and confronted with real-world problems the same students failed to adapt their skills. Over the years we have developed a training model that is leaps and bounds ahead of our competition.
Through the use of dynamic instructors and real-world training scenarios, TrainingTECH1 courses are designed to maximize student involvement and provide an outcome that is vital to technical training. Students are given the opportunity to master their new found skills in a controlled environment, building confidence and the desire to continue learning. At the core of TrainingTECH1’s instructional methodology is the importance that students not only perform a skill or technique with confidence, but they understand why a certain technique is taught and its various applications. It is this training model where the focus moves away from “Net Training”, or training to only satisfy a requirement, to “Capability Training”.
Capability training is the foundation of our training model. Capability training ensures the student not only performs the required skills in the training setting (meet certification requirements), but also understands the technique and its intricate components to truly offer a capability to his or her team. In essence our training staff not only shows you “how”, but also “why”.
